One of the tasks which the Picton Panel has to undertake is a more detailed plan of how the Community First funding is to be targeted for the remainder of the programme, ensuring that it is used to improve the local area to greatest effect.
This has entailed drawing on a range of consultations with local people and synthesising a proposition from these. This is submitted to the Community Development Foundation who review it and decide whether it satisfies the overall Community First objectives.
This plan has now been completed and approved by the Panel. It has also now been approved by the CDF.
The full text of the plan can be downloaded by clicking on the image above.

Welcome
The Government has allocated our ward £33,910 over the next four years. This will be a community fund that local groups can apply for.
On this website you will find all the information you need to put together a good application ready for our first panel meeting in March.
We are also interested in gathering information from all local residents about what they feel the funding priorities should be. This is our opportunity to learn what you think is important in your neighbourhood.
This website will serve as a point of contact for the panel, including details of how to apply for funding, how the money is being spent and notes from panel meetings.
